My mum was my best friend and meant the world to me. When I was younger every night before I went to bed I would give mum a big hug and say I love you more than the whole wide world. I wish I still did that as I got older. Mum is the one who got me through university, I would call her up all the time, nearly every day in my last year, and I would tell her I love her after every conversation. And I truly meant it. All I wanted while I was at university was to be at home with mum, so when I finally did finish uni, I came home straight away. I got to spend a month with her before she left, going climbing and cycling and to the gym, going shopping and for tea and cakes. I would always look forward to 12 o’ clock when mum would come home from work. I did everything with mum and we would tell each other everything too. My best friend. I hope I made her happy like she made me.
